About Nylon Filament

Nylon (polyamide, PA) is a tough, wear-resistant engineering material for gears, hinges, and high-stress mechanical parts, and it is often reinforced with carbon or glass fiber for stiffness. It is strongly hygroscopic: nylon absorbs moisture from the air quickly, so it must be dried before printing and kept in a dry box for good results.

Nozzle temp 250-290°C Nozzle type Brass or hardened steel Bed 25-50°C on garolite, 100-120°C on PEI Enclosure Strongly recommended

Best for tough, wear-resistant mechanical parts like gears, hinges, and high-heat brackets.
