Product Details

  • Vivid Translucent Red Finish: Our premium transparent red PETG filament offers stable, even light transmission. It is perfect for crafting see-through decor, lampshades, decorative vases and Christmas ornaments, creating attractive translucent red works for holiday displays and handmade projects.
  • ±0.02mm Precision & Tangle-Free Neat Winding: Strict ±0.02mm diameter tolerance guarantees smooth, consistent extrusion and fewer nozzle jams. Every spool adopts fully mechanical winding with manual secondary inspection to keep filament tidy, effectively preventing tangling, under-extrusion and filament breakage for complex delicate models.
  • Outstanding PETG Material Performance: Combining advantages of PLA and ABS, this PETG filament features great impact resistance, strong layer adhesion, low shrinkage and minimal warping. It is less brittle than PLA and releases nearly no harsh fumes unlike ABS, suitable for both functional parts and artistic decorations.
  • Long-Term Storage & Durable Printed Results: It has better moisture resistance than PLA for long-term storage. Finished prints hold shape well and resist fading and deformation even after prolonged display. It achieves toughness comparable to PC filament but runs at lower printing temperatures for simpler setup.
  • Wide Printer Compatibility & Practical Printing Guide: Compatible with most 1.75mm FDM and high-speed printers, including Neptune 4 series, Kobra 2, Kobra M5 / M5C, Creality K1 / K1 Max, Ender 3 V2. Recommended nozzle temperature: 240–260°C, part cooling fan 40%, auxiliary fan OFF; disable overhang speed reduction for faster printing. For large flat or fine-detail models, apply a thin glue stick layer on the build plate to strengthen bed adhesion. Keep filament sealed in dry pouch and dry thoroughly before reuse.

Printing STARCAT PETG

STARCAT PETG in Transparent Red runs on the PETG profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PETG is best suited to functional parts that need toughness and the light outdoor or higher-heat use PLA can't handle. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PETG filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.

Nozzle Compatibility

This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
