Product Details
- Flame Retardant PLA: Kexcelled PLA Flame Retardant Filament delivers exceptional flame-retardant performance, meeting the stringent UL94-V0 flammability classification standard.
- PC: Heat resistance and low creep, our polycarbonate filament with heat deflection temperatures in excess of 100°C, parts can be subjected to temperatures of 100°C for short periods of time without deformation under certain loads. This reduces the likelihood of failure and damage or even accidents due to creep deformation and fracture.
- Excellent Performance: No warping, no bubbles, no clogging and no easy shrinkage and deformation. Consistent colour and high dimensional accuracy of the finished product
- Cleanly Wrapped: all filaments are machine wound and manually checked to ensure that the filaments do not get tangled easily and can be fed smoothly
- Moisture Free: The filament is dried and vacuum packed with built in desiccant to ensure it is in good condition when the package is opened

Printing kexcelled PLA
kexcelled PLA in Black runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 2kg spool. PLA is best suited to everyday prototypes, models, and indoor parts that won't face heat or heavy stress. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
