Product Details

  • [Matte 95A TPU Filament] Made from resilient thermoplastic polyurethane, this Shore 95A filament provides softness, high elasticity, and resistance to compression and everyday wear. Printed parts can bend and absorb pressure while maintaining their intended shape, while the matte finish creates a softer, less glossy appearance
  • [Easy and Consistent Printing] The controlled 1.75 mm diameter and +/- 0.04 mm dimensional accuracy support steady feeding and consistent extrusion, helping users achieve a smoother flexible-filament printing workflow
  • [Recommended TPU Settings] For optimal results, use a nozzle temperature of 220–240°C (428–464°F), a bed temperature of 30–55°C (86–131°F), and a printing speed below 150 mm/s. Dry at 65°C (149°F) for 8 hours before printing
  • [Made for FDM Printers] Designed for FDM 3D printers and extrusion systems that support 1.75 mm flexible TPU. Check your printer specifications and adjust temperature or speed according to the model geometry and printing environment
  • [Create Flexible Functional Parts]Suitable for seals, gaskets, grips, protective covers, phone cases, watch bands, insoles, robotics components, drone parts, and wearable prototypes. Available in Black, White, Dark Earth, Navy Blue, Beige, Light Brown, Earth Brown, and Mint Green; each selected color includes one 1 kg (2.2 lb) spool

Printing SainSmart TPU

SainSmart TPU in Matte White runs on the TPU profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. TPU is best suited to flexible, rubber-like parts such as phone cases, gaskets, and vibration dampers. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Ranges checked against Bambu Lab and Prusa data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our TPU filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.

Nozzle Compatibility

Flexible filament is not abrasive, so brass and hardened steel both work. Size matters more: the higher pressure in a small nozzle makes soft filament buckle in the extruder.

Nozzle type
Brass or hardened steel
0.2 mm
Cannot use
Flexibles buckle.
0.4 mm
Can use
Fine for 95A and harder.
0.6 mm
Can use
Needed for 85A and softer.
0.8 mm
Can use
Large, fast parts.

Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
