Product Details

  • 8% Recycled Carbon Fiber PETG: Fiberon PETG-rCF08 combines PETG with 8 wt% recycled carbon fiber for improved rigidity and strength compared with standard PETG. A practical choice for prototypes, brackets, housings, jigs and fixtures.
  • Clean Matte Surface: The carbon fiber texture creates a professional matte finish that helps reduce the visibility of layer lines. Ideal for functional parts that also require a clean, refined appearance.
  • Low-Warp, Reliable Printing: Designed to provide stable dimensions, good layer adhesion and low warping without requiring a heated chamber. It offers an accessible way to print carbon fiber composite parts on compatible desktop 3D printers.
  • Recommended Print Settings: Use a 240–270°C nozzle, 60–70°C build plate and 0–50% cooling fan. Printing speeds up to 300 mm/s may be achieved after calibration. A hardened or wear-resistant nozzle is required because carbon fiber is abrasive.
  • Drying and Application Guidance: If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it at 65°C for 3 hours and store it in a sealed, dry environment. Annealing is not required. With an HDT of 68.6°C at 0.45 MPa, it is intended for functional parts used at moderate temperatures.

Printing Polymaker PETG

Polymaker PETG in Black runs on the standard PETG profile below, and this listing is a 0.50kg spool. PETG is best suited to functional parts that need toughness and the light outdoor or higher-heat use PLA can't handle. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
