Product Details
- CARBON FIBER REINFORCED PETG FILAMENT – FILAZOO PETG-CF Filament combines PETG material with carbon fiber reinforcement to create a professional-grade filament with a distinctive matte black appearance. Suitable for functional parts, prototypes, fixtures, brackets, mechanical components, and engineering-focused 3D printing projects.
- MATTE BLACK ENGINEERING APPEARANCE – The carbon fiber filled surface creates a unique matte black finish that helps printed models achieve a professional and technical appearance. Ideal for applications where both visual quality and functional design are important.
- 1.75MM ±0.05MM DIMENSIONAL ACCURACY – Precisely controlled 1.75mm filament diameter with ±0.05mm dimensional tolerance helps provide consistent feeding and stable extrusion. The controlled filament size supports repeatable printing performance for FDM 3D printers.
- NEATLY WOUND & SMOOTH PRINTING – Carefully arranged filament winding helps reduce tangles and feeding interruptions. Designed for consistent filament flow and reliable extrusion during printing projects.
- PRACTICAL PRINT SETTINGS – Recommended printing temperature: 240–270°C. Heated bed temperature: 70–90°C. For best results, use a hardened steel nozzle or other wear-resistant nozzle when printing carbon fiber reinforced filaments.

Printing FILAZOO PETG-CF
FILAZOO PETG-CF in Matte Black is PETG filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-CF is best suited to stiff functional parts such as jigs, fixtures and brackets that need PETG's chemical resistance. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
