About PETG Filament
PETG (glycol-modified PET) sits between PLA and ABS. It is tougher and more temperature- and chemical-resistant than PLA while still printing without an enclosure, which makes it a common choice for functional parts, brackets, and containers that need some durability. It is a little stringier to dial in than PLA and prints best from a dry spool.
