Product Details
- [Stunning Silk Metallic Shine] Get a high-gloss, silky finish with our PLA filament. This metallic finish PLA mimics textures perfectly. Its unique light-reflecting surface hides layer lines effectively, providing a professional, sleek gunmetal look for artistic models without post-processing. Perfect for those who love high-end, industrial metallic aesthetics.
- [High Precision & Smooth Flow] Our 1.75mm 3D printer filament features a strict +/- 0.02mm tolerance. This ensures consistent extrusion and prevents jams or clogs. You’ll enjoy a stable printing experience and excellent layer adhesion for complex prototypes, making this silk PLA exceptionally easy to use for both beginners and pros.
- [Optimized Printing Settings] For the best silky glow, we recommend a nozzle temp of 220℃. A heated bed of 50℃ - 55℃ is recommended for optimal adhesion. Pro Tip: Slower print speeds and lower layer heights will significantly enhance the metallic luster and surface smoothness of your prints.
- [Neatly Wound & Tangle-Free] 100% mechanically wound and inspected to ensure a tangle-free, neat spool. This prevents snapping and ensures a smooth feed path. Each 1kg spool of silk filament is vacuum-sealed with desiccant to remain moisture-free, preventing bubbles and ensuring clog-free performance throughout the entire print.
- [Wide Compatibility & Support] Universally compatible with most open-source FDM 3D printers on the market. Our 3D printer filament offers low shrinkage and superior bonding, making it the ideal silk PLA material for sci-fi models, mechanical parts, and artistic projects where precision is paramount.
- [Excellent Detail & Paintable Surface] Beyond its natural glow, this filament captures intricate details for complex geometries. If your project requires multi-color effects, the surface is highly receptive to acrylic paints after a light sanding, allowing for limitless creative customization.
- [Odorless & Eco-Conscious Material] Crafted from premium bio-sourced plant materials, our Silk PLA is virtually odorless during printing. It is an ideal choice for indoor environments like homes, offices, or classrooms, providing a clean and pleasant making experience.
- [Superior Durability] Our proprietary formula for Silk PLA offers enhanced durability and is specifically optimized for indoor use. (However, for long-term outdoor projects, a UV-resistant clear coat is recommended to protect against environmental damage and maintain its brilliant metallic sheen.)
- [Consistent Color & Reliable Quality] Unlike other filaments that stripe, our Silk provides a consistent, solid metallic hue across the entire spool. Whether you are printing a small part or a full-scale 1kg model, the color remains uniform, ensuring a professional, cohesive look for your collection.

Printing PlastKyro PLA
PlastKyro PLA in Silk Bronze runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 2kg spool. PLA is best suited to everyday prototypes, models, and indoor parts that won't face heat or heavy stress. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
