Product Details
- 【Printing Guide】 Dry at 80°C for at least 8 hours before printing. Recommended nozzle temperature: 280–290°C; build plate temperature: 90–110°C; print speed: below 200 mm/s. Use an enclosed printer with a hardened steel nozzle (0.6 mm recommended; 0.4 mm and 0.8 mm also suitable). Apply solid or liquid bed adhesive to help reduce warping. For stronger layer bonding, maintain a stable chamber temperature, keep the nozzle at or above 280°C, and minimize cooling.
- 【High Stiffness & Structural Strength】 Containing approximately 5% carbon fiber, FOXTRUDER PA6-CF combines nylon's versatility with enhanced stiffness and strength. It is suitable for rigid functional parts, structural components, and applications requiring dependable load-bearing performance.
- 【Toughness for Demanding Use】 Designed to handle repeated mechanical stress and everyday impacts, FOXTRUDER PA6-CF delivers a balance of strength and toughness for durable components used in challenging conditions.
- 【Heat Resistance up to 141°C】 With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 141°C, FOXTRUDER PA6-CF is suitable for functional parts exposed to elevated temperatures. Actual performance depends on printing conditions, part design, and testing methods.
- 【Wide Applications】 From automotive components and mechanical fixtures to structural prototypes and custom engineering parts, FOXTRUDER PA6-CF is a practical choice for projects that demand stiffness, durability, and heat resistance.

Printing FOXTRUDER Nylon-CF
FOXTRUDER Nylon-CF in Black is Nylon filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain Nylon, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for Nylon-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain Nylon. Nylon-CF is best suited to strong, stiff engineering parts that must also tolerate heat. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Polymaker and Prusament data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
