Product Details
- 【Extreme Stiffness & Heat Resistance】- SUNLU PA6-CF reinforced nylon filament blends 80% PA nylon with 20% carbon fibers. The result is a significant upgrade in structural rigidity, tensile strength, and heat resistance, while also ensuring outstanding layer adhesion for reliable, durable prints.
- 【Industrial-Grade Durability】PA6-CF ideal for functional prototypes and end-use parts that must endure stress, this material excels in applications requiring high torsional, tensile, and impact strength. Use it to print durable components like gears, brackets, tool housings, fan blades, automotive prototypes, and robust sports equipment.
- 【High-Temperature Performance (209°C/408°F)】- PA6-CF Featuring a heat deflection temperature significantly higher than many common filaments like Easy PA, PC, or ASA, this material is perfect for parts exposed to heat. It’s suitable for automotive under-hood components, machinery covers, heat-resistant fixtures, and other high-temperature environments.
- 【Heat-Resistant & Reusable PC Spool】- SUNLU PA6-GF formulated with 25% glass fibers and 75% PA nylon, this filament comes on a dedicated spool designed for convenience. The heat-resistant spool allows for safe, effective drying at temperatures up to 110°C (230°F) right in your filament dryer.
- 【Strong Chemical & Corrosion Resistance】- The glass fiber reinforcement provides superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, fuels, and industrial solvents. This makes it an ideal choice for components in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and other corrosive environments.
- 【Recommended Settings】- To achieve the best printing results, PA6-CF filament, we recommend use a nozzle temperature of 270-280°C and a heated bed at 50-70°C. Print speeds between 50-100mm/s with glue required. For PA6-GF, nozzle temperature of 270-290°C, a bed temperature of 50-70°C, and a print speed of 60-100mm/s ith glue required.
- 【Filament Spool Diameter】- Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03mm. 1KG Spool Diameter: 200 mm (7.87 inches), Spool Width: 67 mm (2.64 inches), Spool Hub Hole Diameter: 55 mm (2.17 inches). The size of the SUNLU filament spool is suitable for hanging on a lot of FDM 3D printers.
- 【Strong compatibility】- SUNLU 3D Filament is not only applicable to all SUNLU 3D printing products: FDM 3D Printer, 3D Printer Accessories, Filament Dyer, but also applicable to almost all FDM 3D printers of other brands. For example: bambu/Ender 3/Ender 3V2, etc.
- 【Vacuum Packed】-SUNLU 3D printer filaments are all vacuum sealed and come with a desiccant pack. Vacuum packing, dustproof and protect the filament dry, avoid absorbing moisture during transportation. Guaranteed to deliver the best printing effect of the filament to the hands of customers.

Printing SUNLU Nylon-CF
SUNLU Nylon-CF in Black is Nylon filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 4kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain Nylon, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for Nylon-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain Nylon. Nylon-CF is best suited to strong, stiff engineering parts that must also tolerate heat. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Polymaker and Prusament data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
