Product Details
- 【Printing Tips】 Recommended nozzle temperature: 260–280°C; build plate temperature: 90–100°C; printing speed: <300 mm/s. An enclosed 3D printer is recommended for better temperature stability. Carbon fiber is abrasive, so a hardened steel nozzle is recommended. Printing may release odors; ensure adequate ventilation and use an exhaust fan whenever possible.
- 【Premium Carbon Fiber Filament】 FOXTRUDER ABS-CF filament contains approximately 5% carbon fiber reinforcement, combining the benefits of ABS with enhanced rigidity and dimensional stability. This ABS carbon fiber filament is ideal for functional 3D printed parts and engineering applications.
- 【Enhanced Rigidity & Dimensional Stability】 Designed for reliable performance, FOXTRUDER ABS-CF 3D printer filament offers enhanced stiffness and dimensional stability compared with standard ABS filament, making it suitable for rigid functional components, brackets, and mechanical parts.
- 【Heat-Resistant Performance】 Combining the heat-resistant properties of ABS with carbon fiber reinforcement, FOXTRUDER ABS-CF filament is suitable for functional components exposed to elevated temperatures, including equipment housings, fixtures, and engineering prototypes.
- 【Wide Applications】 FOXTRUDER ABS-CF carbon fiber filament is suitable for a variety of FDM 3D printing projects, including mechanical components, equipment housings, brackets, fixtures, and functional prototypes. It is a practical choice for makers, engineers, and DIY enthusiasts.

Printing FOXTRUDER ABS-CF
FOXTRUDER ABS-CF in Black is ABS filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain ABS, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). Few makers publish separate ABS-CF settings, so the ranges below are for plain ABS; expect to print toward the top of them. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusa and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our ABS & ASA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
