Product Details
- ①【Lightweight Yet Exceptionally Durable】- SUNLU PP Filament combines ultra-low density (0.9 g/cm³) with outstanding toughness, producing printed parts that are up to 27% lighter than PLA without sacrificing strength. Its exceptional elongation at break of up to 977.5% allows printed models to withstand repeated bending, impacts, and daily wear, making it ideal for lightweight functional and engineering applications.
- ②【Outstanding Fatigue & Chemical Resistance】- Polypropylene is engineered for long-lasting performance under repeated stress cycles. Excellent fatigue resistance makes it perfect for living hinges, snap-fit joints, tool handles, and moving components, while superior chemical resistance protects printed parts against acids, alkalis, oils, and common solvents, ensuring outstanding durability in demanding environments.
- ③【Lightweight & Durable for Everyday Use】- SUNLU PP Filament combines the natural flexibility and lightweight properties of polypropylene with reliable durability for everyday 3D printing. It is well suited for functional containers, kitchen organizers, storage boxes, and other functional prints, making it a practical choice for both home projects and professional applications.
- ④【Optimized for Lightweight Engineering】- Thanks to its unique combination of low weight, flexibility, and impact resistance, SUNLU Polypropylene Filament is widely used for drone parts, automotive components, industrial fixtures, robotic accessories, and lightweight engineering prototypes where reducing weight while maintaining strength is critical.
- ⑤【Professional Printing Recommendations】- For optimal print quality, dry the filament at 50°C for 8 hours before printing. Recommended settings: Nozzle Temperature: 210–230°C, Bed Temperature: 50–60°C, Print Speed: ≤30 mm/s, Enclosure: Closed, Bed Surface: Use PP adhesive.

Printing SUNLU PLA
SUNLU PLA in White runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 0.8kg spool. PLA is best suited to everyday prototypes, models, and indoor parts that won't face heat or heavy stress. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
