- ESD-Safe PETG: Compounded with carbon nanotubes to help dissipate static charge, making it suitable for electronics housings, PCB assembly jigs, component trays, storage fixtures, and tools used around static-sensitive components.
- Designed for Controlled Static Dissipation: PETG-ESD is intended to reduce static buildup around sensitive electronics. Surface resistivity varies with nozzle temperature, print orientation, part design, and environmental conditions. Test finished parts before critical ESD use.
- Tough and Durable Performance: Combines electrostatic dissipation with the toughness of PETG for reusable jigs, fixtures, enclosures, trays, and functional parts used in electronics manufacturing, assembly, handling, and storage.
- Print at 250–290°C: Use a 70–80°C build plate with the cooling fan off. An all-metal hotend capable of at least 250°C is recommended. A heated chamber is not required. Printing speeds up to 500mm/s are possible after printer and flow calibration.
- Moisture and ESD Management: If the filament has absorbed moisture or shows stringing, bubbles, or an uneven surface, dry at 65°C for 3 hours. Keep printed parts clean and dry, and regularly verify surface resistance in critical ESD applications.
