Product Details

  • 1️⃣【Glass Fiber Reinforced PETG】IEMAI matte White PETG-GF filament is infused with 20% glass fiber. Compared to ordinary PETG, it greatly improves stiffness, structural strength, and load stability. Perfect for functional parts, brackets, fixtures, housings, and mechanical components
  • 2️⃣【Reliable Dimensional Stability】With reliable dimensional stability and a diameter accuracy of +/-0.03mm, our glass fiber PETG filament 1.75mm ensures smooth extrusion and consistent layer bonding, suitable for both beginners and experienced users
  • 3️⃣【Excellent Bed Adhesion】Our glass fiber filament provides excellent bed adhesion, which helps minimize warping and shrinkage during printing, and allows for easy printing without the need for a fully enclosed chamber
  • 4️⃣【Improved Heat Resistance】Compared to standard PETG, PETG GF offers improved heat resistance and thermal stability, helping parts maintain shape under moderate heat. Suitable for outdoor components, workshop tools, and industrial or functional applications
  • 5️⃣【Professional Matte Surface Finish】The PETG glass fiber reinforced surface texture effectively minimizes visible layer lines, delivering a refined, professional matte finish, great for visible components like casings(drone casings), product prototypes, decorative parts, and mechanical covers
  • 6️⃣【Printing Tips & Settings】①Dry at 70°C for 5–8 hours before use; ②Use 0.4–0.6mm Hardened Steel or Other Wear-Resistant Nozzles; ③No Enclosure Required; ④Nozzle Temp 250–270°C, Hotbed Temp 90–100°C, Printing Speed ≤100mm/s

Printing IEMAI PETG-GF

IEMAI PETG-GF in Matte White is PETG filled with chopped glass fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-GF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-GF is best suited to stiff, stable functional parts that handle knocks better than carbon fiber grades. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Ranges checked against Elegoo data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our glass fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.

Nozzle Compatibility

Glass fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.

Nozzle type
Hardened steel
0.2 mm
Cannot use
Fibers clog it.
0.4 mm
Can use
Standard only, not high flow.
0.6 mm
Can use
Fewer clogs and less wear.
0.8 mm
Can use
Large, fast parts.
