PEEK is an extreme-performance engineering plastic used for aerospace, medical, and industrial parts that have to survive continuous heat around 260°C. It is not a material for a standard desktop printer: it needs an all-metal hotend rated to 400°C or higher and a heated chamber to print without warping or delaminating. Treat any PEEK listing as requiring purpose-built high-temperature hardware, not an upgrade path from PLA or ABS.
In August 2026, the tracker analyzed 9,849 listings across 39,417 price history rows. The analysis included 12 materials, with PLA family leading at 6,103 listings, followed by PETG with 1,921 listings and TPU with 495 listings.
