Product Details

  • 【Heat-Resistant & Reusable Spool】- SUNLU PA6-GF formulated with 25% glass fibers and 75% PA nylon, this filament comes on a dedicated spool designed for convenience. The heat-resistant spool allows for safe, effective drying at temperatures up to 110°C (230°F) right in your filament dryer.
  • 【Exceptional High-Temperature Resistance】- With a heat deflection temperature of 417°F (214°C), PA6-GF maintains its structural integrity and stiffness under sustained heat, making it perfect for demanding applications like under-hood automotive parts, electrical enclosures, and hot industrial fixtures.
  • 【Strong Chemical & Corrosion Resistance】- The glass fiber reinforcement provides superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, fuels, and industrial solvents. This makes it an ideal choice for components in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and other corrosive environments.
  • 【High Strength & Impact Resistance】- Engineered for toughness, this filament delivers excellent mechanical properties, including high impact and drop resistance, without compromising layer adhesion. It’s built to withstand the rigors of the most demanding industrial and functional applications.
  • 【For Demanding Industrial Applications】- PA6-GF robust, durable, and high-toughness profile makes PA6-GF the go-to material for high-performance parts in automotive, aerospace, electronics, and heavy-duty industries—from brackets and motor mounts to structural fittings and tooling.
  • 【Smooth Finish & High Precision】- Glass fibers contribute to a notably smooth surface finish on printed parts, with low warpage and high dimensional accuracy. This is ideal for producing professional-grade prototypes, consumer product housings, and precision jigs and fixtures.
  • 【Recommended Settings】- To achieve the best printing results with SUNLU PA6-GF filament, we recommend printing at a nozzle temperature of 270-290°C, a bed temperature of 50-70°C, and a print speed of 50-120mm/s.
  • 【Printing Tips】- 6 hours after unpacking, it needs to be dried before printing. The recommended drying conditions is 110°C for 4 hours. It is recommended to apply glue to assist printing to prevent edge warping. Printing PA6-GF with a copper nozzle is prone to wear and tear. It is recommended to use a wear-resistant nozzle, such as a hardened steel nozzle.
  • 【Strong Compatibility】- Spool Diameter: 203.2mm(8inches), Spool Width: 63.5mm(2.5inches), Spool Hub Hole Diameter: 55.88mm(2.20inches). Compatible with most printers, such as Bambulab H2D, X1 series, etc.

Printing SUNLU Nylon-GF

SUNLU Nylon-GF in Grey is Nylon filled with chopped glass fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain Nylon, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for Nylon-GF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain Nylon. Nylon-GF is best suited to stiff, heat-tolerant parts that need to hold up to impact. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Ranges checked against Bambu Lab data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our glass fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.

Nozzle Compatibility

Glass fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
