Product Details
- 【Ultra-Fast Printing up to 600 mm/s】 Engineered with enhanced fluidity, STARCAT RAPID PETG filament melts rapidly and extrudes smoothly, enabling print speeds from 30 up to 600 mm/s. Recommended profile: Volumetric Flow 15 mm³/s, Pressure Advance 0.036, Flow Ratio 0.95, Retraction 0.8 mm. Finish large projects in record time without sacrificing surface quality or dimensional accuracy.
- 【Superior Light Transmittance & Low Warping】 Compared to standard PLA, STARCAT PETG offers better light diffusion, minimal warping, and low shrinkage — making it the ideal choice for Christmas lamp shades, glowing holiday light boxes, snowflake ornaments, star tree toppers, translucent enclosures, and any festive part where light transmission matters. Bed Temp 70–80°C recommended for strong first-layer adhesion, so your holiday prints stay flat and warp-free.
- 【Balanced Toughness — The Best of ABS & PLA】 PETG combines the ease of printing like PLA with the strength and impact resistance close to ABS. Durable, slightly flexible, highly impact-resistant, and virtually odorless during printing — perfect for functional daily-use parts, mechanical prototypes, brackets, and household tools.
- 【Clean Winding, Tangle-Free & Dry】 Full mechanical winding with strict manual inspection ensures every spool is neatly wound, minimizing tangles, under-extrusion, and snap issues. Recommended Nozzle Temp 240–260°C, Part Cooling Fan 40%, Auxiliary Fan OFF, and "Overhang Speed Reduction" can be disabled for faster, smoother results. Store in a dry pouch; dry thoroughly before reuse.
- 【Wide Compatibility & Pro Tips】 Works with most 1.75 mm FDM printers — ideal for Neptune 4 / 4 Pro / Plus / Max, Kobra 2 Series, Kobra M5 / M5C, Creality K1 / K1 Max, Ender 3 V2, and other high-speed machines. For large flat surfaces or fine-detail models, apply a thin layer of glue stick on the bed to boost adhesion and prevent warping.

Printing STARCAT PETG
STARCAT PETG in Rainbow runs on the PETG profile below, and this listing is a 12kg spool. PETG is best suited to functional parts that need toughness and the light outdoor or higher-heat use PLA can't handle. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PETG filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
