Product Details

  • 8% Carbon Fiber Addition: Hyper PETG CF filaments utilize a carbon fiber addition process, resulting in improved high-temperature resistance, strength, and anti-aging properties. Tensile strength is over 40% higher than standard PETG, and the heat distortion temperature reaches 70°C
  • Reliable Mechanical Performance: Parts produced with Hyper PETG CF exhibit excellent rigidity, dimensional stability, and surface quality, combined with outstanding toughness and durability. This makes them a dependable choice for manufacturing mechanical components such as gears, bushings, connectors, and load-bearing parts
  • Chemical & Weather Resistance: Hyper PETG-CF exhibits excellent resistance to solvents, oils, and acids. It can withstand temperatures up to 70°C and maintains outstanding durability even after prolonged outdoor exposure or under harsh environmental conditions
  • Versatile Industrial Applications: Leveraging its exceptional properties- including high purity, low shrinkage, and long-term durability- Hyper PETG CF filament is well-suited for a wide range of industrial applications, such as frames, drones, tools, automotive components, and more
  • Recommended Printing Parameters: Based on the material properties of the Hyper PETG CF filament, we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle with a diameter of ≥ 0.4 mm. The recommended printing temperature range is 240–270 °C, and the heated bed temperature should be set between 65–75 °C

Printing Creality PETG-CF

Creality PETG-CF in Brown is PETG filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-CF is best suited to stiff functional parts such as jigs, fixtures and brackets that need PETG's chemical resistance. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Nozzle Compatibility

Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
