Product Details
- DUAL-COLOR SILK EFFECT: Two colors are combined in a single filament to create shifting two-tone highlights from different viewing angles, adding depth and contrast with a smooth, glossy silk finish.
- MOOTH & RELIABLE PRINTING: Precision manufactured to a consistent 1.75mm diameter with ±0.02mm tolerance for stable extrusion and smooth layer deposition. Neat machine winding helps reduce tangles and feeding interruptions for reliable printing from the first layer to the last
- ENHANCED TOUGHNESS: Upgraded silk PLA formula delivers 45.9 MPa tensile strength, 70 MPa flexural strength and 16 kJ/m² unnotched Charpy impact strength, adding durability for prints that are frequently handled, assembled or displayed
- HIGH-SPEED SILK PLA: Supports print speeds up to 250mm/s on compatible high-speed FDM printers while delivering smooth, glossy surfaces. Recommended nozzle temperature 210–240°C and build plate temperature 35–45°C; actual speed and finish may vary by printer, model and settings
- LOW SHRINKAGE & MINIMAL WARPING: Formulated for stable dimensions, strong first-layer adhesion and reduced edge lifting, helping produce cleaner corners and more consistent large or detailed prints. Compatible with most 1.75mm FDM/FFF 3D printers

Printing filjstmbes PLA
filjstmbes PLA in Silk Rainbow runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PLA is best suited to everyday prototypes, models, and indoor parts that won't face heat or heavy stress. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
