Product Details
- [ASA Material Upgrade]: ASA 3D printing filament is an improved version of ABS filament. Compared to ABS, ASA offers superior weather resistance and stability. Furthermore, ASA is an eco-friendly material, making it an ideal choice for 3D-printed products.
- [Outstanding Weather Resistance]: ASA filament boasts a wider temperature resistance range and can be used continuously between -40°C and 80°C. It maintains excellent toughness even at low temperatures and resists deformation and softening even at high temperatures. Thanks to its excellent UV resistance, it delivers reliable performance even in harsh environments.
- [Superior Mechanical Properties]: FOXTRUDER 3D printing filament offers exceptional strength and impact resistance. It is ideal for automotive exterior parts, mechanical components, and gardening tools, making it the top choice for industrial and outdoor 3D printing applications.
- [High Compatibility & Beginner-Friendly Design]: FOXTRUDER ASA filament features minimal shrinkage at low temperatures and is resistant to warping at high temperatures. Its precise 1.75mm diameter ensures compatibility with most FDM printers. The smooth ASA material prevents stringing and tangling, providing a seamless printing experience that’s ideal for beginners.
- [Printing Tips]: Object temperature: 240–280°C; Bed temperature: 90–100°C; Print speed: <250 mm/s. 2. We recommend using a closed-chamber printer.

Printing FOXTRUDER ASA
FOXTRUDER ASA in Black runs on the ASA profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. ASA is best suited to UV-stable outdoor parts that need to survive sun and weather without yellowing. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our ABS & ASA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
