Product Details
- 【Clear Translucent Finish】PETG Translucent Filament delivers up to 90% light transmittance under optimized print settings. Fewer wall loops promote higher light transmission, while additional loops create a softer, diffused appearance.
- 【Combines Clarity and Strength】PETG Translucent Filament combines translucent aesthetics with higher load-bearing performance and lower brittleness than standard PLA. Suitable for functional parts and decorative prints.
- 【Withstands Warmer Conditions】With a heat deflection temperature of approximately 77°C, PETG Translucent Filament retains its shape at higher temperatures than standard PLA.
- 【Supports Outdoor Applications】Water and UV resistance support use in outdoor environments. Suitable for garden accessories, outdoor fixtures, and parts exposed to intermittent weather conditions.
- 【RFID Recognition】Automatically loads preset filament information when used with the Snapmaker U1, a feature exclusive to this printer.

Printing Snapmaker PETG
Snapmaker PETG in Transparent runs on the PETG profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PETG is best suited to functional parts that need toughness and the light outdoor or higher-heat use PLA can't handle. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PETG filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
