Product Details
- Shiny Like Chrome, Smooth Like Silk–Now Silk+: Achieve a premium, reflective metallic finish that mimics chrome. VOXELAB Silk+ PLA goes beyond ordinary silk filaments, delivering an even glossier, more uniform shine that makes your prints look like polished metal—perfect for showpieces, toys, and cosplay.
- Enhanced Layer Adhesion–Stronger & More Reliable: Unlike basic silk PLA which can be brittle, Silk+ is specially engineered for superior interlayer bonding. Say goodbye to splitting or delamination. Your prints stay strong, functional, and durable while maintaining that beautiful silk appearance.
- A Spectrum of Colors–Consistent, Vivid, Stunning: Available in a wide range of rich colors with excellent color consistency across spools. Each print comes out with the same high-gloss, chrome-like effect from start to finish.
- Effortless Printing, Flawless Results–Diameter: 1.75mm ±0.02mm: Precision tolerance ensures smooth, clog-free feeding on most FDM 3D printers (Ender, Prusa, Bambu Lab, Anycubic, etc.). Recommended print temperature: 190–220°C; bed: 50–60°C. Silk+ flows more consistently than standard silk PLA, reducing jams and failed prints.
- 1kg (2.2lbs) Spool–Vacuum-Sealed with Desiccant: Comes perfectly wound and vacuum-sealed with a drying pack to keep moisture out. Ready to print right out of the bag. Fits most standard FDM 3D printers.

Printing Voxelab PLA
Voxelab PLA runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PLA is best suited to everyday prototypes, models, and indoor parts that won't face heat or heavy stress. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
