- 【Professional Tips and Printing Settings】Tips: ① Dry at 70°C for 5-8 hours before use; ② Use a 0.4-0.6mm hardened steel or tungsten carbide nozzle; ③ Print and keep container humidity below 20% RH (seal and place desiccant). ④ Nozzle temperature 240-270°C, heated bed temperature 65–75°C, speed 30–200 mm/s
- 【Insulation Properties】PETG-GF filament has excellent electrical insulation properties, ensuring safe and reliable use in housings, insulators, and other components requiring continuous insulation protection.
- 【Glass Fiber Reinforced PETG】matte petg gf filament contains 10% glass fiber. Compared to ordinary PETG, its stiffness, structural strength, and load stability are significantly improved. Suitable for functional parts, brackets, clamps, housings, and mechanical components.
- 【Compared to Standard PETG】petg gf filament has higher heat resistance and thermal stability, helping parts maintain their shape at moderate temperatures. Suitable for outdoor parts, workshop tools, and industrial or functional alications.
- 【Premium Matte Surface】CHCKX PETG-GF incorporates glass fiber for a more refined matte finish with fewer layer lines.

Printing CHCKX PETG-GF
CHCKX PETG-GF in Black is PETG filled with chopped glass fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-GF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-GF is best suited to stiff, stable functional parts that handle knocks better than carbon fiber grades. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Elegoo data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our glass fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Glass fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our glass fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
