Product Details
- Industrial-Grade Strength & Rigidity – Reinforced with 15% glass fiber, PET-GF offers outstanding mechanical stability and impact resistance, surpassing standard PET and even PET-CF in overall toughness and dimensional accuracy.
- UV & Weather Resistant for Outdoor Use – Built to withstand sunlight and environmental stress, PET-GF Black maintains both color and structural integrity over time, making it ideal for outdoor, automotive, and mechanical projects.
- Exceptional Post-Print Stability: While PET-GF finished parts feature low moisture absorption for superior dimensional stability and consistent mechanical performance in humid environments, the raw filament is sensitive to humidity before extrusion. To ensure a flawless surface finish and maximum layer adhesion, we strictly recommend using a filament dryer or dry box during the printing process.
- Enhanced Heat Resistance (Annealable) – Annealing your parts increases heat deflection temperature and stiffness, making PET-GF suitable for components that must perform under high temperatures and continuous mechanical load.
- Professional Matte Black Finish – The rich matte black surface hides layer lines and enhances printed detail, giving parts a refined, industrial-grade appearance suitable for prototypes, tools, or finished products.

Nozzle Compatibility
Glass fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our glass fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
