Product Details
- 【Blends PLA & ABS Strengths】Clear 1.75mm PETG 3D printer filament combines PLA’s easy printability and ABS’s impact resistance, avoiding PLA brittleness and ABS warping. Consistent ±0.02 tight tolerance enables stable extrusion and reliable layer adhesion for FDM 3D printing. Recommended nozzle temp: 230-240℃, print bed temp: 60-70℃.
- 【Light Transmitting Appearance】Our clear PETG filament delivers excellent light transmission for crystal-clear finished prints. It is an ideal transparent 3D printing material for art sculptures, lamp housings, decorative ornaments and display crafts to create stunning visual effects.
- 【Heat & Weather Resistance】Finished PETG printed parts deliver waterproof performance and withstand up to 75℃ heat, outperforming regular PLA filament. Weather-resistant properties keep functional parts stable in warm and humid environments. Note: Raw PETG may absorb ambient moisture over time. For optimal printing results, drying prior to printing is suggested.
- 【Less Clogging & Stringing】High precision clear PETG filament maintains uniform 1.75mm diameter for steady melt flow, reducing nozzle clogging and stringing. Suitable for printing speeds below 200mm/s. Neat winding prevents tangles to achieve attractive transparent print surfaces.
- 【Vacuum Packed & Support】Each PETG roll comes with moisture-proof vacuum packaging to slow moisture absorption. Note: If stored exposed to air for a long time after opening, drying before printing is recommended. Feel free to contact us if you have concerns about your printing experience.

Printing RepRapper PETG
RepRapper PETG in Transparent runs on the PETG profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PETG is best suited to functional parts that need toughness and the light outdoor or higher-heat use PLA can't handle. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our PETG filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
