Product Details
- Enhanced Rigidity - VOXELAB Carbon Fiber filament 1.75mm is an enhanced composite carbon fiber PETG material, Carbon fiber PETG filaments are made from a combination of PETG and carbon fibers. The addition of carbon fibers to PETG filament enhances its rigidity, providing better dimensional stability and resistance to deformation.
- High Strength & Lightweight - Carbon fiber PETG 3D printing filament offers superior strength compared to regular PETG filaments, making it ideal for applications that require durability and structural integrity. And it's significantly lighter than traditional materials like metal, making them perfect for reducing weight in aerospace, automotive, and other industries where weight reduction is crucial.
- Improved Surface Finish - The carbon fibers in PETG filaments give printed parts a unique, professional-looking surface finish, making them perfect for aesthetic applications such as prototypes, cosplay props, and artistic creations.
- Chemical Resistance & Heat Resistance: Carbon fiber PETG filaments exhibit excellent chemical resistance, making them suitable for applications where exposure to chemicals or harsh environments is expected. It offer high heat resistance, allowing for the creation of parts that can withstand elevated temperatures without deforming or losing strength.
- Excellent Printability - Carbon fiber PETG filaments have excellent printability, allowing for smooth and easy printing on most 3D printers, Due to the addition of carbon fiber, A larger diameter (0.6mm or more), abrasion-resistant steel nozzle is highly recommended.

Printing Voxelab PETG-CF
Voxelab PETG-CF in Red is PETG filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-CF is best suited to stiff functional parts such as jigs, fixtures and brackets that need PETG's chemical resistance. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
