Product Details

  • Vacuum Sealed & Moisture Free: Completely drying for 24 hours before packaging and vacuum sealed with desiccants in a transparent bag to effectively protect the filament from moisture enabling much smoother and more stable printing. Please remember to put it back into the bag timely after use to maintain excellent printing performance.
  • Excellent Mechanical Properties: iSANGHU carbon fiber filament 1.75mm is an enhanced composite carbon fiber PETG material, developed with the latest formula. 1.75 black petg filament is composed of 80% PETG and 20% carbon fiber and features lightweight, high strength, and toughness-enhanced. Not easy to become brittle and deformed compared with regular PETG filament 1.75mm. PETG metal filament is an ideal choice for high-performance applications.
  • Improved Printability and Matte Finish: Combining 20% carbon fiber, this carefully formulated blend ensures the filament is easy to be fed and printable and makes the final print look very smooth and high quality. This black CF-PETG filament 1.75mm Works perfectly with most FDM 3d printers on the market, such as MK3, Ender 3, Monoprice FlashForge and etc.
  • Wide Industrial Applications: The carbon fiber PETG reinforced material enables lightweight and durability, suitable for applications requiring torsional, tensile, and impact strength such as functional prototypes, tools, fixtures, end-use parts, pump impellers, mechanical gears, precision, and engineering components, widely used in robots, drones, automotive and aerospace industry.
  • Tips for Printing: Due to the addition of carbon fiber, this 1.75 petg-cf filament can wear out and clog stock 0.4mm brass nozzles rapidly. A larger diameter (0.6mm or more), abrasion-resistant steel nozzle is highly recommended, and keep your nozzles clean between every several prints or so. For a better finish and layer adhesion, we would also suggest drying it before printing. Print Temp: 220°C - 250°C, Bed Temp: 60°C - 75°C, Fan Speed: 30 - 70%, Print Speed: 40 - 130mm/s.

Printing iSANGHU PETG-CF

iSANGHU PETG-CF in Black is PETG filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-CF is best suited to stiff functional parts such as jigs, fixtures and brackets that need PETG's chemical resistance. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Nozzle Compatibility

Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.

Nozzle type
Hardened steel
0.2 mm
Cannot use
Fibers clog it.
0.4 mm
Can use
Standard only, not high flow.
0.6 mm
Can use
Fewer clogs and less wear.
0.8 mm
Can use
Large, fast parts.
