Product Details
- K6 PLA CF: kexcelled PLA-CF filament black has stronger toughness, higher strength and stiffness, low shrinkage and high fluidity. It is the perfect choice for printing high-durability and impact-resistant parts
- Technology Upgrade: The refined carbon fiber addition process of carbon fiber 3d printing filament optimizes the carbon fiber floating and agglomeration problems. Reduce nozzle wear and improve interlayer adhesion
- High Consistency: The optimized extrusion process and double defect detection technology ensure that the filament diameter is 1.75mm and the tolerance is controlled at +/-0.03mm
- Less Entanglement: All pla carbon fiber filaments are mechanically wound and manually inspected to ensure that the PLA filament is not easy to tangle and can be fed smoothly
- No Clogging, No Bubbles: Completely dried before packaging, vacuum sealed, and placed with desiccant and other thoughtful services to ensure that the pla cf filament reaches you in the best condition

Printing kexcelled PLA-CF
kexcelled PLA-CF in Black is PLA filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PLA, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PLA-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PLA. PLA-CF is best suited to stiff, matte display pieces, desk and camera accessories, and light-duty brackets that never see heat. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Bambu Lab and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our carbon fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
