Product Details

  • 【Enhanced Stiffness and Strength】Carbon fiber reinforcement gives PETG-CF Filament greater stiffness and resistance to bending. Optimized for functional parts, structural components, and engineering fixtures.
  • 【Improved Heat Resistance】With a heat deflection temperature of 72.3°C, PETG-CF Filament maintains its shape under elevated temperatures. Suitable for functional parts exposed to heat and select outdoor applications.
  • 【Refined Carbon Fiber Finish】A subtle carbon fiber texture helps conceal visible layer lines. The distinctive sheen gives printed parts a clean, technical appearance.
  • 【Improved Dimensional Stability】Carbon fiber reinforcement helps reduce shrinkage and warping during printing. PETG-CF Filament supports dimensional accuracy and consistent results across larger parts.
  • 【RFID Recognition】When used with Snapmaker U1, exclusive RFID integration automatically loads preset filament information. Built-in Snapmaker Orca profiles further reduce manual setup.
  • 【Important Note】PETG-CF contains chopped carbon fibers. Do not use hot ends smaller than 0.4 mm, because they may cause clogging. As carbon fiber is abrasive, use Hardened Steel Hot Ends (sold separately) and load filament manually to prevent wear on the automatic filament feeder.

Printing Snapmaker PETG-CF

Snapmaker PETG-CF is PETG filled with chopped carbon fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-CF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-CF is best suited to stiff functional parts such as jigs, fixtures and brackets that need PETG's chemical resistance. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Ranges checked against Bambu Lab, Prusament and Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our carbon fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.

Nozzle Compatibility

Carbon fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.

Nozzle type
Hardened steel
0.2 mm
Cannot use
Fibers clog it.
0.4 mm
Can use
Standard only, not high flow.
0.6 mm
Can use
Fewer clogs and less wear.
0.8 mm
Can use
Large, fast parts.
