Product Details
- Glass Fiber PETG: The addition of glass fiber significantly improves the mechanical properties of printed parts, ensuring that they are strong and durable while maintaining good adhesion between layers and reducing the risk of cracking.
- Features: Our proprietary PETG filament glass fiber hybrid technology is equivalent to a reinforced version of ordinary PETG, with true zero warping and higher strength, ensuring perfect printing when printing large or complex workpieces.
- Matte PETG: Providing unparalleled dimensional stability while giving the print a frosted surface texture, which makes your work more perfect.
- Wide Application:Strong, durable and features an excellent heat resistance, Lightweight yet strong It can be used in applications requiring high temperature resistance, impact resistance and high load bearing such as: furniture load-bearing parts, automobile decorative parts, sports protection appliances, outdoor decorations, drone frames, etc.
- Perfect For Use: Each of our GF PETG filament is dried, vacuumed, and perfectly packaged to ensure the best possible results in your hands, and is compatible with most 1.75mm FDM 3D printers on the market.
- Printing Suggestions: Due to the abrasive properties of glass fibres, use stainless steel or hardened nozzles before printing. Dry 8-12 hours at 55°C before printing. Store at <20% humidity (airtight with desiccant) Print bed: 70-80°C, nozzle temperature: 240-270°C, fan cooling: 0-70%

Printing kexcelled PETG-GF
kexcelled PETG-GF in Matte Green is PETG filled with chopped glass fiber, and this listing is a 1kg spool. The fibers make parts stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PETG, but they are abrasive, so a hardened nozzle is mandatory (see nozzle compatibility below). The ranges below are for PETG-GF, which usually prints a little hotter than plain PETG. PETG-GF is best suited to stiff, stable functional parts that handle knocks better than carbon fiber grades. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Elegoo data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our glass fiber filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
Glass fiber is abrasive and wears brass (and stainless) nozzles out of round, sometimes within a single spool. Use hardened steel or another wear resistant nozzle such as ruby or tungsten carbide. With hardened steel, start about 5 to 10°C hotter than you would with brass.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our glass fiber filament guide and nozzle types guide.
