Product Details
- PA12 SUPPORT MATERIAL: Designed for PA12 and compatible long-chain nylon prints, including PA12-CF. This is a support-interface filament, not a model filament or a support for PLA, PETG or PA6/CoPA.
- BREAKAWAY, NOT SOLUBLE: Remove supports mechanically after printing; this filament does not dissolve in water. Tune the support-interface gap to balance support during printing with later separation.
- DUAL-MATERIAL PRINTING: A dual-nozzle or tool-changing setup is recommended. Using one nozzle for PA12 and support material requires careful purging between swaps to reduce clogging risk.
- TDS PRINT SETTINGS: For a 0.4mm nozzle, use 270-300°C nozzle, 50-80°C bed, 50-150mm/s speed and fan off. Use a hotend rated for these temperatures; test settings before a long print.
- DRY STORAGE AND NOZZLE: Keep filament dry during use. The TDS recommends drying at 100°C for 8 hours and a wear-resistant nozzle because brass can abrade. Grass Green, 1.75mm, 0.5kg net.
