Product Details
- Versatile Stardust Translucent HTPLA with Silver Glitter- Take gloss to another level with Glitter Flake HTPLA . Print with the ease of standard PLA with standard hardware and temperatures, but make fun, mesmerizing prints that stand out.
- Finishing Variety - With the option to heat-treat, wire brush, or polish this filament 1.75 gives you plenty of different choices to give your finished product a different look. Our metallic finish contains no actual metal and has little risk of clogging or wearing your nozzle, and it won't make a glitter mess, but beware the printing is sure to be addictive! Metallic particles are relatively small but have some orientation effects, giving top/bottom surfaces more shine than sidewall.
- High Quality - Proto-pasta offers only U.S-made, high-quality 3D printer filament PLA. Using only premium materials with a focus on craftsmanship this PLA 1.75 is one you can trust to get the job done.
- Easier to Use - This PLA Filament 1.75 mm has been flow-optimized and has less moisture than standard PLAs to help avoid heat soak and to keep mass flow up. This combination of features makes it easier to use than most standard PLAs.
- Widely Compatible - Designed to work with most standard 3D printers this 3D filament PLA 1.75 has a wide range of compatibility that allows you to run a business or simply create premium pieces in the comfort of your own home.

Printing Proto-Pasta PLA
Proto-Pasta PLA in Silver runs on the PLA profile below, and this listing is a 0.5kg spool. PLA is best suited to PLA parts that must survive heat after an annealing step. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.
Ranges checked against Polymaker data. Heat resistance is the heat deflection temperature (HDT). Read our HT-PLA filament guide for bed adhesion, drying, troubleshooting, and material-specific tips.
Nozzle Compatibility
This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
Based on Bambu Lab and Prusa guidance. More in our nozzle types guide.
