Product Details

  • TOUGH AND STRONG: Tough Pro PLA+ is designed for your most demanding projects but prints smoothly and without fuss making it perfect for quick jobs. It’s an engineering-grade, tough PLA with excellent temperature resistance and strength that rivals ABS. It is 4.3x stronger than regular PLA and is annealable for extra strength.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Tough Pro PLA+ filament is compatible with most 3D printers that accept 1.75mm filament.
  • VACUUM SEALED: Each spool is vacuum packed and includes a dessicant packet to help keep your filament dry. Sometimes these vacuum seals may puncture in transit, but your filament is still perfectly good to use.
  • MADE IN THE USA: Our filament is made in the USA using US ingredients such as NatureWorks Ingeo 3D870 resin. No fillers are ever used, ensuring you are printing with the best filament.
  • TEXTURE AND FINISH: Tough Pro PLA+ has a matte/silky finish once printed. Surface finish can be affected by printing temperature, layer height, and print speed.

Printing 3D-Fuel PLA Plus

3D-Fuel PLA Plus in Orange runs on the PLA Plus profile below, and this listing is a 1kg spool. PLA Plus is best suited to everyday parts that need a little more toughness than standard PLA, with the same heat limits. Brands and even individual spools vary, so treat these as starting points and run a quick temperature tower to lock in the sweet spot for your printer.

Nozzle Compatibility

This is an unfilled plastic, so it is not abrasive: a brass nozzle works and lasts, and so does hardened steel. With hardened steel, print about 5 to 10°C hotter.
